Performance Stages at the Southern Festival of Books

From October 14-16, 2016, Humanities Tennessee will host the 28th Annual Southern Festival of Books in downtown Nashville on Legislative and War Memorial Plazas as well as at the Nashville Public Library downtown branch. More than 200 authors of all genre and background will convene for this event to participate in 120 different sessions which include panel discussions, presentations, Q&A sessions, and book signings. The THRIVE program provide $3000 to support 20-30 performance and visual artists (of a total 50-70) that will participate in programming on three live performance stages throughout the weekend. It is anticipated that some 25,000 people from across the region visiting Nashville for this free and open event.
