We highly encourage the electronic submission of project plans and specifications. It will save you time and money.
The electronic submission means that ‘one’ set of plans is routed to all Metro departments to be reviewed concurrently, by all. It ensures that all city departments will be reviewing exactly the same set of plans.
Electronic submission also means that all city departments will have access to the comments noted by each of the other reviewing departments, thus improving communication between the departments and speeding up the plan review process.
With electronic plan submission, you will be given round-the-clock, real-time access to view the plans and all of the comments – as they concurrently make their way through the plan review process. Your entire project team can have full access to a fully transparent plan review process.
Last but certainly not least, electronic plan submission will save everyone time if your design team needs to submit revisions. The revised portions of the plans will be automatically highlighted which allows for a much, quicker turn-around time when reviewing the revisions. Only the revised portion of the plans will be required to be reviewed.
