Function: It shall be the duty of the Metropolitan Board of Equalization to carefully examine, compare and equalize the assessments of property and assessments within the territorial limits of the Metropolitan Government, and in so doing, together with the performance of all its other functions, be governed by the general laws regulating county or city boards of equalization.
