Function: The Board of Plumbing Examiners and Appeals examines all applicants for a master plumber, journeyman and apprentice plumber's certificate, hears all appeals. A public hearing, at a time and place set by the board, shall be held prior to approval or disapproval, by the board, of any proposed new plumbing material or method of construction. Such hearing shall be conducted according to the rules of the board established for such hearings. Board has the authority to revoke or suspend any certification issued by such board.
