Joy Harris, Public Policy Advisor to the Tennessee State Treasurer, was appointed by the State Building Commission on May 26, 2009 to serve on the Metro District Energy System Advisory Board on behalf of the State of Tennessee.  Before joining the State Treasurer’s office, Ms. Harris worked as a legislative staff person for Senator Bob Corker in his Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Harris is a graduate of Belmont University and resides in Nashville.
