Change My Voter Registration Address

Note: In Tennessee, we register to vote by county.

If you move to Davidson County from another county or state, you must submit a new Voter Registration Application to our office. It’s easy to apply online at ovr.govote.tn.gov OR go to Register to Vote for guidance and an application.

If you move within Davidson County, you need to change your address. You may also handle this task online at ovr.govote.tn.gov OR do one of the following:

  • Email this change of address form with your signature to vote.questions@nashville.gov
  • Mail this change of address form with your signature to:

  • Mail your current voter registration card with your new address and signature to:

  • Visit one of our two office locations:

Your address change request must be signed and received by our office no later than five (5) days before an election in order to process the change.
