Healthy Nashville Leadership Council

Description

The Healthy Nashville Leadership Council (HNLC) was created to mobilize community initiatives to achieve improvements in health, specifically to address underlying contributors to chronic diseases include unhealthy diet, lack of physical activity, and tobacco use. The Healthy Nashville Leadership Council is supported by the Metro Public Health Department. Current work of the Council is outlined in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).

All business of this Council follows the Healthy Nashville Leadership Council by-laws. More information on the work of the Healthy Nashville Leadership Council can be found on the data portal www.healthynashville.org.

The Healthy Nashville Leadership Council normally meets the first Wednesday of every month from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. However, they voted to meet every other month in order to allow time for committee efforts on the Nashville Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). All meetings are held at Lentz Public Health Department, 2500 Charlotte Avenue, 3rd floor Board Room.
