Function: It shall be the duty of the Metropolitan Board of Equalization to carefully examine, compare and equalize the assessments of property and assessments within the territorial limits of the Metropolitan Government, and in so doing, together with the performance of all its other functions, be governed by the general laws regulating county or city boards of equalization.

Rules and Regulations

Meets: According to State statute, this board convenes twice yearly. However, during reappraisals, they may meet as often as needed, sometimes, daily, at 700 Second Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37210. Contact the office of Assessments for Board dates or sign up for notification of meetings.
