Planning Guide

Our planning guide provides planning tips and resources on how to plan a health event in your community. If you are responsible for planning a community event or health fair, our Planning a Health Fair or Community Event guide will get you started.

Invite Us

The Metro Public Health Department appreciates the opportunity to support educational efforts to promote a healthy community. Fill out our online Community Event Request form to invite a representative from the Health Department to your event. We offer speakers who cover a range of topics – from healthy eating and active living to a visit from Mary the Tooth Fairy.

Please note that the Health Department currently does not offer cholesterol screenings or blood pressure checks at health fairs.
