South Music Row
Neighborhood Conservation Zoning District
South Music Row is a Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay district. Any new construction including additions, demolitions, or relocation of structures is reviewed by the MHZC prior to beginning the project.
South Music Row became a Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay district January 1997. The South Music Row Neighborhood Conservation Zoning District is a small portion of the Music Row area. The lots in the district were among the last in the area to be developed with construction of homes occurring in the early part of the twentieth century. During the period of development, fine examples of American Foursquare, Craftsman, Bungalow and Tudor Revival houses were constructed. The district contains approximately 70 properties.
