Title VI in Metro Government
It is the intent of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that all residents have access to all city-funded programs and services. It is further the intent of Metro that all citizens are aware of their rights to such access. This site is designed to serve as an educational tool for citizens so that they may understand one of the civil rights laws which protect their benefit of programs and services, specifically, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. At this site, you’ll learn about your rights under Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, you’ll learn how to file a discrimination complaint, be able to access other useful civil rights links, and other useful information.
