Compliance Information

Please upload a Certificate of Authorization/Good Standing if the company has operated for one full year or more. For companies that have been in operation in Tennessee for less than one year upload either a Certificate of Existence or an Application for a Certificate of Authority/Existence. Please visit Tennessee Secretary of State Certificate of Existence page for more information.

Small Business Incentive Grant

Grant explanation

To meet the terms of the grant, Company must be engaged in a for-profit service or manufacturing industry; employ no more than 100 full-time persons, regardless of the locale in which they are employed; create a minimum of twenty (20) new full-time jobs making a wage rate equal to or greater than the annual wage rate average for all occupations within the Nashville-Davidson County Metropolitan Area; and create the jobs at the qualified project site within a twelve (12) month period.

Blighted Property Grants

Minimum eligibility requirements

To meet the eligible requirements for a Blighted Property Grant a developer must be constructing or rehabilitating the exterior portions of commercial property located within a redevelopment district as approved by the metropolitan council. The construction or rehabilitation investment must exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). The appraised value of the property at the time of the grant application cannot exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000) as determined by the Davidson County Property Tax Assessor.
