Health in all Policies

Health in All Policies is a strategy to assist leaders and policymakers to integrate considerations of health, well-being, and equity during the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and services. Former Mayor Karl Dean asked each Metro Department to assess how they were considering and reflecting the likely health consequences of department’s policies, plans, projects and programs. The Health in All Policies inaugural report was submitted to the mayor in April 2014 with a subsequent report due each January following an assessment of the Metro Departments.

The second Health in All Policies report was submitted in January 2015 following a survey of Metro Departments.
