Chief Casey Honored by Metro Council--West Precinct Building to Bear His Name

The Metro Council on October 2nd presented retired Metro Police Chief Joe Casey with a framed special copy of the recently passed ordinance that calls for the new West Precinct building at 5500 Charlotte Pike to be officially known as the Chief Joe D. Casey Building. Signage at the West Precinct will be installed in the near future.

Chief Casey joined the Nashville police force in 1951. He served as chief from 1973 until his retirement in 1989.
