North Precinct Detectives Investigating Murder of Germaine Davenport

North Precinct detectives are continuing in their efforts to identify the persons responsible for Wednesday night’s murder of Germaine A. Davenport in the 3100 block of Ewingwood Drive.
          
Officers were told that Davenport, 25, of Winterbrook Road, was outside the home of a relative at approximately 10 p.m. when he was confronted by four to five young black men wearing dark clothing and carrying guns.  Multiple shots were fired at Davenport, who made it inside the house where he died.
          
Anyone with information on the persons responsible for killing Davenport is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
