Mother & Son Arrested for Manufacturing Marijuana

A marijuana investigation by South Precinct undercover detectives led to Thursday night’s execution of a search warrant at 536 Doral Country Drive and the discovery of a marijuana grow operation in the closet of an upstairs bedroom. Seized were 22 marijuana plants, three grow lights, two filters and two fans. Six grams of processed marijuana, a glass marijuana bong, two smoking pipes and a marijuana grinder were also found.
Homeowner Nancy C. Hall, 59, a teacher at Old Center Elementary School in Goodlettsville, and her son, Liam De Jongh-Hall, who also lives at the residence, are charged with manufacturing marijuana, unlawful marijuana possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. They were released from jail after each posted a $10,500 bond.
Nancy Hall claimed ownership of the marijuana plants. Detectives were told the marijuana was being grown for personal medicinal use.
