Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 103 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 103 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Chilton Street, Lafayette Street, and Thompson Lane. Seized were 53 grams of marijuana, 12.4 grams of cocaine, four pills, one vehicle and $2,993 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Tulip Grove Road, Walden Woods Drive, Murfreesboro Pike, Lafayette Street, Lewis Street, Thompson Place, Patricia Drive, Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Shutes Lane, and Old Hickory Boulevard. Seized were 36.5 grams of marijuana, 8.2 grams of cocaine, nine pills and one vehicle.
West Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, White Bridge Road, 8th Avenue South, and Wedgewood Avenue. Seized were 91 Lortab pills, 14 grams of marijuana, 18 amphetamine pills, one handgun and $300 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Hinkle Drive, Rowan Drive, Lincoln Street, Mattie Street, and Myrtle Street. Seized were 21.44 ounces of marijuana, 88 marijuana plants, 40.7 grams of cocaine and one handgun.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Rivergate Parkway, and Myatt Drive. Seized were 57.5 grams of marijuana, 3.5 grams of cocaine, one vehicle and $1,430 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Berkshire Drive, Plum Street, Jones Avenue, Edwin Street, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were more than 18 pounds of marijuana, 197 various pills including Xanax, Lortab and morphine, and $540 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Jefferson Street, Garfield Street, Lafayette Street, and North 1st Street. Seized were five grams of marijuana.
