Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest and Conviction of Person(s) Responsible for Shooting a Family Horse

Madison community leaders including Electric Service Credit Union President/CEO Ron Smith and The Madison Chamber of Commerce are offering a combined reward of $1,000 ($500 dollars from each organization) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the April 8th shooting of John Coarsey’s horse, Sable, in a pasture at Coarsey’s Campbell Road home.
Coarsey reported that he noticed Sable breathing heavily at 6 p.m. on April 8th. A veterinarian was called and discovered that Sable had been shot. The horse died a short time later.
