Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 112 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 112 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations on Hamilton Church Road, Nolensville Pike, and Rose Street. Seized were 8.25 ounces of marijuana, three grams of cocaine, two grams of heroin and one weapon.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 26 persons as the result of investigations on Cass Street, Lewis Street, Perkins Street, Ezell Road, Bell Road, Fairfield Drive, Murfreesboro Pike, East Thompson Lane, Gordon Lane, Smith Springs Road, and Lebanon Pike. Seized were 12.5 grams of cocaine, 33 grams of marijuana, 3.5 Viagra pills, one vehicle and $83 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, 11th Avenue South, and Annex Avenue. Seized were 12.34 ounces of marijuana, 10.5 grams of cocaine, 50 Dilaudid pills, 19 Suboxone strips, one handgun, one vehicle and $1,091 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on Jefferson Street, John A. Merritt Boulevard, 28th Avenue North, Alameda Street, and Brick Church Pike. Seized were 8.2 grams of marijuana and 1.2 grams of cocaine.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 5 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Bain Drive and Neelys Bend Road. Seized were 33 grams of marijuana and two OxyContin pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, and Seymour Avenue. Seized were 1.5 grams of cocaine, two grams of marijuana, ten methadone pills, two Lortab pills and two vehicles.
Central Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on North 1st Street, Spring Street, 6th Avenue South at Mulberry Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were 28.5 grams of marijuana, three fentanyl patches, one gram of cocaine and one morphine pill.
