Detectives Working to Identify Knife-Wielding Robbery Suspect

South Precinct detectives are working to identify the knife-wielding robber who Saturday night held up the Mapco at 1101 Bell Road.
The suspect entered the store, produced a large knife, and demanded cash and a pack of Newport cigarettes.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot.
The robber is described as a black man with a mustache in his late-20s.  His first name is possibly Mark and he has “Cheyenne” tattooed on his forearm.  He wore a black t-shirt, white and black checked shorts and a New York Yankees ball cap.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the attached surveillance photos is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
