Metro Police & FBI Seek Robber of Nolensville Pike SunTrust Branch

South Precinct officers and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man who this afternoon robbed SunTrust Bank’s 4310 Nolensville Pike branch.
The robber is a black man who appears to be in his late 30s.  He is approximately six feet tall and wore a black polo-type shirt with white buttons, dark blue sport coat, blue driver cap, dark pants and brown dress shoes.  He presented a teller with a robbery demand note shortly before 1 p.m. that said he was armed.  After receiving money, the robber exited the bank through the front door.  His direction of flight and mode of travel from the area of the bank has not been determined.
Bank surveillance cameras captured clear images of the robber’s face.  Anyone recognizing him or knowing his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.   Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Those who contact Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
