Career Development Services Remain in Wilson County

Career Development Services are still being offered at the Tennessee Career Center in Wilson County, located on 155 Legends Drive,Suite M in Lebanon (across from Demos’). Career coaching staff, funded by the Middle TN Workforce Investment Board, are available to assist job seekers or those looking for a career transition in Wilson County and surrounding areas
Services that are currently being provided include:
- Career coaching for individuals looking for work
- Computer workstations with internet access for job seekers
- Job search assistance for customers using Jobs4TN.gov
- Job preparation workshops and Career Connections meetings
- Referrals to skills training/education and scholarships
- Assistance with resume preparation and interviewing skills
- On-site recruitment opportunities for employers
All services and weekly workshops are open to the public. Workshops take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A few examples of workshops offered include: Resume Writing, Interview & Professional Image, Applying Online, Using Social Media for Job Seeking and Career Connections,which features local employers who provide insight and knowledge about their company, industry, hiring tips & trends and open positions within their company. Also, for the Hartsville community, career services are offered on Fridays from 8 am – 4:30 pm at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville, located at 716 McMurry Blvd.
Middle Tennessee Workforce Investment Board, promotes workforce and economic development, youth education and high tech training. It is the governing board of the Nashville Career Advancement Center (NCAC), which provides employment related services to individuals and businesses. NCAC is a proud partner in 6 Tennessee Career Centers located in Davidson,Rutherford, Wilson and Trousdale counties, also known as Local Workforce Area 9.
