Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 108 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 108 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
          
South Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Patricia Drive, Edmondson Pike, and Perkins Street.  Seized were 2.5 grams of cocaine, two grams of marijuana, 13 pills, more than 14 pounds of Khat and $5,018 cash.  
          
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on
Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Old Hickory Boulevard, Lebanon Pike, Stewarts Ferry Pike, and Gina Brooke Drive.  Seized were five grams of cocaine, 39 grams of marijuana, 16 grams of methamphetamine, one oxycodone pill and one handgun.      
          
West Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Still Spring Hollow Drive, Morrow Road, Urbandale Avenue, and Alabama Avenue.  Seized were 17 grams of marijuana, 15 grams of MDMA, 480 pills, one vehicle, two handguns and $17,410 cash.  
          
North Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Hermosa Street, W. Trinity Lane, Clarksville Pike, 29th Avenue North, and St. Louis Street.  Seized were 5.68 ounces of marijuana, 1.7 grams of cocaine, one oxymorphone pill, five prescription pills, two handguns and $7,132 cash.
          
Madison Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Conference Drive, and Myatt Drive.  Seized were ten grams of marijuana, eleven grams of cocaine, one gram of heroin and $878 cash.
          
East Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, North 2nd Street, Douglas Avenue, Hancock Street, and Dickerson Pike.  Seized were 83 grams of marijuana, 1.7 grams of cocaine, .3 grams of heroin, and two Roxycodone pills.                    
          
Central Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Cheatham Place, and Gay Street.
          
Persons suspecting drug activity in their neighborhoods are urged to call the police department’s 244-DOPE hotline. Callers to the hotline can remain anonymous.
