Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 118 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 118 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on 2nd Avenue South at Lafayette Street, Lutie Street at Foster Avenue, Cameron Street, and Nolensville Pike. Seized were 210 grams of marijuana, 2.2 grams of cocaine, two pills, one gram of methamphetamine, one vehicle and $593 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on
Rayon Drive, Royal Parkway, Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Cannon Street, Lebanon Pike, Lafayette Street, Smith Springs Road, Murfreesboro Pike, and Fairfield Avenue. Seized were 171 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine and three Xanax pills.
West Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Edgehill Avenue, Westboro Drive, Georgia Court, and 12th Avenue South. Seized were 156 various pills and $6,552 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on Ashton Avenue, 23rd Avenue North, Seifried Street, Clifton Avenue, Brick Church Pike and Jefferson Street. Seized were 12.4 grams of cocaine, 10.3 grams of marijuana, one gram of heroin, two pills, three weapons, one vehicle and $1,366 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Rivergate Parkway. Seized were 50 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine, five Lortab pills, .5 grams of heroin and $215 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 25 persons as the result of investigations on Joseph Avenue, North 2nd Street, Gallatin Pike, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were 2.3 grams of cocaine, 16 various pills, 5.5 Lortab pills, one Xanax, 15.3 grams of marijuana and $97 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Shelby Avenue, Lafayette Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were five grams of marijuana, two Xanax pills and eight hydrocodone pills.
