Man Charged with Attempted Robbery of East Nashville Convenience Store

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Timothy Marsh, 23, is now charged with attempted robbery for Wednesday evening’s hold-up of the Shell convenience store at 1001 Shelby Avenue.
          
Marsh implied that he had a handgun.  He fled empty handed.
          
Marsh was arrested in Sumner County Thursday for a probation violation.  He was returned to Nashville last night.  Marsh is booked in the Metro jail on $80,000 bond.  He has previous theft and drug possession convictions.
