California Man Surrenders in Nashville in Connection with Vanderbilt Rape Case

Miles Joseph Finley, a California man indicted on a charge of evidence tampering in connection with the Vanderbilt rape investigation, voluntarily traveled from California to Nashville and today surrendered himself at police headquarters. Bond for Finley is set at $10,000. He will be arraigned by Criminal Court Judge Steve Dozier in the near future.
Finley’s co-defendant in this case, Joseph Quinzio, 20, continues to go through the legalities of the extradition process in California.
Finley and Quinzio were friends of rape defendant and former Vanderbilt football player Brandon Vandenburg. They are accused of tampering with certain electronic evidence pertaining to the sexual assault investigation. Finley and Quinzio were of interest to Metro Detectives Jason Mayo and Chad Gish during their investigative visit to Riverside County, California in late July.
