Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 127 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 127 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on 2nd Avenue South at Lafayette Street, the 800 block of Richards Road, Rose Street, Lutie Street, East Thompson Lane at Murfreesboro Pike, Bell Road, and Eagle View Boulevard. Seized were more than 17 ounces of marijuana, 6.5 grams of cocaine, 16 pounds of Khat and $4,310 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 26 persons as the result of investigations on
Green Street, Lewis Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Fairfield Avenue, Claiborne Street, Philfre Court, and Fesslers Lane. Seized were 34 grams of marijuana, 3.8 grams of cocaine, nine pills, 3.1 grams of heroin and $209 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Wade Avenue, Croley Drive, White Bridge Pike, and Charlotte Pike. Seized were 315 pills, eight doses of LSD, 8.5 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine and $603 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Murfreesboro Pike, Kellow Street, Cockrill Street, Trinity Lane, Dowlan Street, and 26th Avenue North. Seized were two grams of marijuana, .3 grams of cocaine and three Xanax pills.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Devonshire Drive, Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Myatt Drive. Seized were ten grams of marijuana, 11.1 grams of cocaine, 30 hyrdrocodone pills and .5 grams of heroin.
East Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Walton Lane, Meridian Street, Eastmoreland Street, and Gwen Drive. Seized were 90.1 grams of marijuana, 216 pills (including Lortab, Percocet, morphine, and Xanax) one handgun, one vehicle and $929 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on 11th Avenue North, Lafayette Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were five grams of marijuana.
