Woman Critically Injured After Stopping Her Car on Interstate

The woman critically injured late Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash on I-24 east near Harding Place is identified as Tresa R. Partee, 41, of Nashville.
Witnesses reported seeing Partee’s 2013 Nissan Sentra weave slightly and then come to a complete stop in a traffic lane. A 2007 Nissan Maxima then struck the Sentra in the rear. Finally, a 1995 Maxima hit the 2007 Maxima in the rear.
The drivers of the Maximas were not seriously hurt. Partee was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
It has not been determined why Partee stopped in an interstate traffic lane. Officers are checking whether she suffered some type of medical issue.
