Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 104 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 104 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Joyner Avenue, Algonquin Trail, Hickory Hollow Parkway, Spence Lane, Bell Road, and Pin Oak Drive. Seized were approximately nine grams of marijuana, 3.2 grams of cocaine, three pills, two guns and $6,726 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Waggoner Court, Lafayette Street, Vultee Boulevard, Andrew Jackson Parkway, Atrium Way, and Rains Avenue. Seized were 216 grams of marijuana, 2.5 grams of cocaine, two pills, two guns and $2,900 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Highway 70 South, Charlotte Pike, and Church Street. Seized were 123 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine, one gram of synthetic marijuana and 16 pills.
North Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Leawood Drive, Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, Patterson Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were 31.4 grams of marijuana, .2 grams of cocaine, four guns and $60 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Conference Drive, Myatt Drive, and Lester Avenue. Seized were ten grams of marijuana, three grams of heroin, two grams of cocaine, one gun and $170 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Shelby Avenue, Gallatin Pike, and Lischey Avenue. Seized were ten Lortab pills, 177.7 grams of marijuana, .5 Xanax bars, 3.3 grams of cocaine, one vehicle and $3,417 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Monroe Street, Jefferson Street, Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, and Delta Avenue. Seized were eleven grams of marijuana and $520 cash.
