Metro Animal Care and Control Announces the Meet Your Match, Name your Price Adoption Event

Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC) kicked off the “Meet Your Match, Name your Price” event this past Saturday with 24 pet adoptions.  The adoption extravaganza will continue through Saturday February 15.

During the event the adopters can choose their adoption fee.  (No fee below $30 will be accepted) The standard adoption fees for Metro Animal Care and Control range from $40-$90.

All qualifying adopters will be accepted.  All animals will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and receive a rabies license.

“This is a great time to meet your match,” said Rebecca Morris with Metro Animal Care and Control.  “We hope this will encourage the community to adopt a shelter pet and help the homeless pets of Nashville.”

Metro Animal Care and Control is committed to the delivery of effective, courteous, and responsive animal care and control services to the residents of Nashville/Davidson County.  MACC’s mission is to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of pets and people in Nashville. Our goals are to build partnerships within the community to promote responsible pet ownership, decrease the overpopulation of domestic pets through spay-neuter programs, and to place adoptable animals in good homes.

MACC in the past year has seen a significant increase in pet adoption and continues to try innovative promotional techniques including the successful Feline Frenzy and Adopt-A-Shelter Dog fee discounts. MACC, with the support of our partners, will continue to work every day to find loving homes for the homeless animals of Nashville.
