South Nashville Bank Robber Sought

South Precinct officers and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the masked gunman who this evening robbed the Apex Bank office at 4536 Nolensville Pike.
The robber entered the bank at 5:35 p.m. and verbally demanded cash while pointing a pistol at two employees.  They complied and the gunman fled the building.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who is approximately 5’9” tall and has a slim build.  His hair is in a thin dreadlock style with blonde or gold tips on the ends. 
Anyone with information about the robber is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.  Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone, text or Internet can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
