Ohio Woman Arrested at Nashville Hotel & Charged with Manufacturing Meth

April 4, 2014

A 26-year-old woman from Kettering, Ohio is facing charges of manufacturing meth and possession of drug paraphernalia after chemicals and syringes were discovered late this morning inside her room at an Elm Hill Pike hotel.
A third party who visited Jessica Nichole Bennett’s room today saw obvious signs of drug use and notified police.  Hermitage Precinct officers and narcotics detectives from the Specialized Investigations Unit responded.  In plain view were syringes and a mason jar containing an unknown liquid.  Inside a guitar case were Coleman fuel and other items commonly used to make meth.
Bennett went through a decontamination process by the fire department before being taken to the jail for booking.  She is being held in lieu of $30,000 bond.
