Detectives Seeking Robber of South Nashville Auto Parts Store

South Precinct detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the masked gunman who robbed Advance Auto Parts on Nolensville Pike Tuesday night while repeatedly claiming “my girl’s got cancer, I need this money.”
The gunman entered the store just after 8 p.m. wearing a blue hoodie and a black mask over his face.  He pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at a store employee and demanded that he place money from the cash register into a pink bag.  He fled on foot behind the nearby Full Gospel Mission Church.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s who is 5’8” to 6’ tall.  Anyone with information about this armed robber is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.   Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
