July 16, 2014
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A several week investigation by narcotics detectives into the distribution of heroin in South Nashville led to today’s arrest of convicted felon Dominique Bryant (also known as Shine) and his girlfriend, Danielle Lucy, on charges of possessing heroin for resale and felony gun possession.
During the execution of a search warrant at the couple’s residence at 2920-B Glencliff Road, detectives discovered a loaded pistol concealed inside an air vent, 7.5 grams of heroin and 3 sets of digital scales.
Bryant, 33, whose record reflects convictions for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and cocaine offenses, is being held in the Metro Jail in lieu of $145,000 bond. A probation violation warrant is expected to be filed by the state as Bryant received a 10-year mostly probated sentence for a cocaine conviction in 2010.
Lucy, 32, admitted to previously selling heroin on behalf of Bryant. She is being held in lieu of $115,000 bond.
