Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 107 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 107 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro Pike, Fesslers Lane, Fairfield Avenue, Lafayette Street, Lewis Street, and Blue Hole Road at Bell Road. Seized were approximately 12 grams of marijuana and 7.4 grams of cocaine.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Lewis Street, Lafayette Street, Fairfield Avenue, Fain Street, Robertson Street, Central Pike, Claiborne Street, Charles E. Davis Boulevard, and Maury Street. Seized were a small amount of cocaine and three grams of marijuana.
West Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, Louisiana Avenue, and Mountain Valley Drive. Seized were 342 grams of marijuana, 24 pills, one gram of cocaine and five grams of heroin.
North Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Clifton Pike, Brick Church Pike, Hampton Street, and Trinity Lane. Seized were six grams of marijuana, four grams of cocaine, seven pills, one vehicle, one gun and $341 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Old Hickory Boulevard, Briley Parkway, Gallatin Pike and Chesapeake Drive. Seized were 14 grams of cocaine, one gram of methamphetamine, one gram of heroin, and two guns including an assault rifle.
East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Gallatin Pike, South 7th Street, and Trinity Lane. Seized were three grams of cocaine, 11.4 grams of marijuana and $416 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on North 1st Street, Rosa Parks Boulevard, 6th Avenue North, and Garfield Street. Seized were six grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine and three hydrocodone pills.
