Graduation Ceremony for 22 New Police Officers

The Nashville police department’s officer ranks grew by 22 Tuesday night with the graduation of the latest class of trainees.  The new officers took the oath of office from Mayor Dean and receives their badges from Chief Anderson during a ceremony at Faith is the Victory Church, 3344 Walton Lane. 

          The 22 graduates began training on March 1.  They will spend the next five to six months with precinct field training officers before patrolling the streets by themselves.
