Man Charged with Criminal Homicide as an Accomplice to Last Week's Murder in Cayce Homes

East Precinct detectives today charged Anassadi M. Henderson with criminal homicide as an accomplice to last Tuesday’s murder of Horace Whitley in the James Cayce public housing development.
Henderson, 23, of South 8th Court, is accused of helping alleged shooter Shanon Pleasant remove Whitley’s body from the apartment in which he was killed and conceal it in a nearby woodline. Henderson is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
An arrest warrant charging Pleasant, 40, with criminal homicide is outstanding and officers have been searching for him since shortly after the murder occurred.
