Free E–Waste Event Planned November 17 at LP Field

Metro to collect unwanted computers, TVs, small appliances and other electronics

WHO: Metro Beautification & Environment, Metro Public Works and Creative Recycling
WHAT: Free Electronic Waste Event
WHEN: Saturday, November 17, 8 a.m. – 12 noon
WHERE: Lot D, LP Field, 1 Titans Way

Residents can bring old computers, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, cell phones and a variety of other electronics to LP Field on Saturday, November 17, to be recycled. Equipment that will NOT be accepted would be items containing hazardous waste, radioactive or biohazardous waste or mercury. (See attached list for more details.)
