Junior Ballet Intensive for 10-12 years old

  • 2018 details to be announced in January 2018.

Centennial Youth Ballet's Junior Intensive is a wonderful way for students to transition into a more rigorous training environment over the summer, work with guest faculty, and push themselves in a supportive and healthy environment. Join us for this half-day, one-week intensive of ballet technique and variations, theater dance, and an injury prevention and nutrition workshop to give students information on how to make it through long rehearsal days and take care of their bodies. This intensive is appropriate for students who were enrolled in Intermediate I or II during the 2017/18 school year or equivalent. At least two years of recent classical ballet training required.

From the Ground Up for 8-10 years old

  • 2018 details to be announced in January 2018.

From the Ground Up is designed to challenge campers in all four major art disciplines: dance, music, theater, and visual arts. Using their own ideas and imaginations to work together, campers will discover what it takes to write a song, create choreography, construct a piece of art, and bring a story to life onstage. Instructors will give campers guidance to create art from the ground up, but what they create is up to them.

Level Up for 11-13 years old

  • 2018 details to be announced in January 2018.

Level Up, based in the same format as From the Ground Up, is designed for the next level of campers with artistic challenges in dance, music, theater, and visual arts. Collaborating with one another, campers will create cohesive pieces of art while learning about classic and contemporary forms of each discipline. With the guidance of the instructors, they will level up their artistic abilities and, as always, what they create is up to them!
