Nashville B-Cycle

In March 2015, Shelby Bottoms Nature Center was established as a new Nashville B-Cycle location which replaced the Nashville GreenBikes program. The Nashville GreenBikes project was a wonderful, grant and donor afforded program hosted by the nature center for 5 years. Though our GreenBikes reached their lifespan, the remaining GreenBikes donated by Regions Bank are still offered in several locations. But Shelby Bottoms is now proud to host our own B-Cycle station!

Nashville B-Cycle is the city's fee-based bike-share program that is designed to offer a low-cost, convenient and healthy transportation option for short trips within the urban core. Nashville B-cycle includes 260+ bikes at 30 automated kiosks that operate within a three-mile radius of downtown.

It is priced to encourage lots of short trips. After purchasing a pass, users can take an unlimited number of 60 minute trips during their membership (or access period). It's only $1.50 per 30 minutes apply to every trip over 1 hour. There are a number of options available from a 24 hour Pass (only $5!) to Annual Membership (only $60!).

So park your car here, visit the Nature Center, and then grab a B-Cycle. Take a ride on the Shelby Bottoms Greenway and enjoy our amazing nature. Then ride your bike downtown along an easy bike lane and simply check your B-Cycle in at a kiosk downtown. You are now free to visit any number of our city's many fabulous sites! Pick up another B-Cycle (because your membership includes free one hour rides!) at one of the downtown kiosks and then head back to the Bottoms and enjoy a sunset along the river! It's fun, healthy (for you and the planet), inexpensive and SO convenient!
