Nashville Metro Parks and Rec. Swimming Pools

Nashville Metro Parks and Rec. maintains a variety of seasonal outdoor pools and year-round indoor pools. Wave Country and the Centennial Sportsplex charge a fee for admission. The other pools offer free admission during open swimming and lap swimming times. There is a fee for swimming classes and groups at all pools.

Summer 2016 Community Pool Operating Schedule

Seasonal community pools and spray parks will be operating on the following schedule for the summer of 2016:

Kirkpatrick and Watkins Spray Parks, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 10:00 am-3:00 pm (Only open on weekends after July 29th).

Rose Park and Looby Park Pools, June 6 through July 29th, Tuesday-Friday 10:30 am-4:30 pm, Saturday 1:00-4:00 pm, closed Sunday and Monday.

Cleveland Park Pool, June 6 through July 29th, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 am-4:30 pm.

Napier Pool, June 6 through July 29th, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am-4:30 pm.

Proper Swimming Attire Rules

  1. Clothing such as cut-off shorts or other frayed materials that can damage pool filtration systems are not allowed.
  2. For health and sanitation requirements, children under age three, anyone who is not fully toilet trained or incontinent must wear a swim diaper.
  3. To maintain a family-friendly environment, adult swim suits of a sexually suggestive nature, including thongs, string bikinis or see-through clothing, are not allowed.
  4. For their protection, preschool-aged children and older should be dressed in modest, swim-appropriate clothing. This includes no underwear visible for boys, and some type of top that is not see through for girls.
