Tools for Education
There are many tools throughout the Parthenon site than can be utilized in the classroom. The Dictionary, Parthenon Facts, and Tour pages provide text and images that are both educational and entertaining.
In addition, the following documents provide further details and information about the Parthenon, Athena, and the Greek culture. These documents are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing. This software is free and can be downloaded by following the link at the bottom of this page.

- Temple Design - A description is given of ancient Greek temple design in general as well as a focus on the Parthenon. Floor plans are illustrated.

- The West Pediment - A photograph of a model of the West Pediment is described in detail.
- Pottery Painting - Greek pottery painting is explored through descriptions, illustrations, and an image to decorate.
