First, the restoration team planned a preservation and construction plan in three phases. This team included representatives from Metropolitan Government of Nashville, the Parthenon, Orion Building Corporation and Western Waterproofing. The scaffolding went up in 1994 and Phase I began. Phase I of the project replaced all of the roof tiles and created a better drainage system. This project was completed in 1997.
