Docents of Parthenon
The mission of the Parthenon Docents is to serve as ambassadors promoting awareness of and providing education about the Parthenon.
The program, which started in September 1998, graduated its second class of docents in April 1999. Docents are asked to work at least eight hours a month at the Parthenon and commit to one year in various volunteer duties.
