Subarea 2 map

The North Nashville Community Plan is one of fourteen community plans which guide growth and development in Davidson County. Each of those plans is updated every seven to ten years, and amended as necessary; the original North Nashville plan was adopted in January 2002, and has been amended eleven times. The Planning Commission approved the current North Nashville Community Plan on January 27, 2011, and amended it in March and June 2011.

Cheatham Place Specific Plan Zoning

The Cheatham Place Specific Plan was approved by the Metropolitan Council on August 6, 2009. Specific Plan, or "SP," refers to a type of base zoning district which establishes design standards for that specific development and includes them in the zone change ordinance. Developers who use SP zoning must still follow historic and redevelopment guidelines, subdivision and stormwater regulations, and the goals and objectives of the General Plan.
