Upcoming meetings which require public notification are listed here. The Planning Commission meets at 4 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Sonny West Conference Center at the Howard Office Building, 700 Second Avenue South. Only one meeting is held in July, November, and December. The July 23, August 27, and September 10, 2015 meetings will be held at the Board of Education meeting room, 201 Bransford Avenue.

Community meetings

January 27: Proposed Community Plan amendment, Edgehill & Villa Place

Planners will hold a community meeting from 6:30 - 7:30 pm Tuesday, January 27 at the Easley Community Center at Rose Park, 100 Edgehill Avenue, to discuss a proposed amendment to the Green Hills-Midtown Community Plan amendment affecting properties at the intersection of Edgehill Avenue and Villa Place.

January 29: Proposed Community Plan amendment, Greenwood Avenue & Chapel Avenue

Planners will hold a community meeting from 6:00-7:00 pm Thursday, January 29 at the Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Avenue, to discuss a proposed amendment to the East Nashville Community Plan affecting a property at the southeast corner of Greenwood Avenue and Chapel Avenue.

January 29: Proposed amendment to the Downtown Code

That proposed amendment would bring part of the Jefferson Street corridor into the Downtown Code. A community meeting is set for 6-7 pm Thursday, January 29, at the Goodwill Career Solutions Training Center, 937 Herman Street.
