Meet the Mounted Horse Patrol Unit

Officer Nathan Clark

Officer Nathan Clark

Officer Clark joined the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2003 and has served the police department in several different capacities over the course of his career. Officer Clark was transferred to the Mounted Patrol Unit in 2016 and was partnered up with Skipper, an 18 year old Tennessee Walking Horse. Skipper has been a part of the Mounted Patrol Unit since 2001 and was donated by a family in Hermitage, TN.

Officer Rodney Clark

Officer Rodney Clark

Officer Rodney Clark joined the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2009. Officer Clark was transferred to the Mounted Unit in 2016. He is partnered with Bear, a 17 year old Tennessee Walking Horse who was donated from Columbia, TN

Officer Tim Edwards – Auxiliary Member

Officer Tim Edwards

Officer Tim Edwards has been with the Metro Nashville Police Department since 2007. In 2011, Officer Edwards completed his training for the Mounted Patrol and was assigned to the Unit for 4 years. Officer Edwards is currently assigned to Field Operations but is an Auxiliary member of the Mounted Unit and frequently works special events. In 2012, his partner Chisum came to the Mounted Patrol Unit. Chisum is a 9 year old chestnut colored Tennessee Walking Horse donated from Sweetwater, TN.

Officer Brent Hoadley

Officer Brent Hoadley

Officer Brent Hoadley joined the Metro Nashville Police Department in January of 2005. In July of 2012 Officer Hoadley was transferred to the Mounted unit. Officer Hoadley's partner is King, an 8 year old quarter horse from Bainbridge, GA. King and Officer Hoadley look forward to seeing y’all around town.

Officer Greg Jones

Officer Greg Jones

Officer Greg Jones has been with the Metro Nashville Police Department since 1985 and with the Mounted Unit since 2011. In 2016 Officer Jones partnered with Orozco, a 7 year old buckskin colored Tennessee Walking Horse who was purchased with funds donated by Woodmen Life Insurance. Orozco came from Manchester TN. Together, they enjoy meeting people and putting on demonstrations.

Officer Mike MacLennan

Officer Mike MacLennan

Officer Mike MacLennan has been with the Metro Nashville Police Department since 1995. Officer MacLennan was transferred to the Mounted Unit in 2016. He is partnered with Boo, a 10 year old Tennessee Walking Horse. Boo was donated from Shelbyville, TN.

Officer Chris Seufer

Officer Chris Seufer

Officer Chris Seufer has been with the Metro Nashville Police Department since 2011. In 2015, Officer Seufer began his training for the Mounted Patrol and was transferred to the Unit full time in 2016. His partner Buck came to the Mounted Patrol Unit in 2013. Buck is a 13 year old bay colored Tennessee Walking Horse donated from Culleoka, TN.
