METRO, COCA-COLA AND KROGER ANNOUNCE ‘RECYCLE AND WIN’ PROGRAM - $15,000 in Kroger gift cards offered as incentives for residents to increase recycling

Coca-Cola Consolidated, Kroger, Metro Public Works, and the Metro Beautification and Environment are awarding Nashville residents a $50 Kroger gift card if they are “caught” recycling the right way. The Recycle & Win program, a sustainability initiative designed by Coca-Cola to promote municipal recycling programs, began April 5th for single-family households in the Urban Services District, and 10 winners will be randomly selected every week through September.

Residents of Davidson County who do not have access to Metro’s curbside recycling program have their chance to participate in Recycle & You Can Win events planned on Saturdays at several community recycling drop-off sites throughout the summer.

Hundreds of winners have already been selected by the Recycle & Win Prize Patrol Team visiting USD neighborhoods. A total of 5 winners are selected in a random drawing held at the end of each Saturday event.
