2009-10 Brush Collection Schedule The Brush Collection Schedule is now available for July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. You can download the map for your area and sign up for email reminders.
Holiday Trash and Recycling Pickup Metro trash and recycling customers whose collection day falls on a holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day or July 4th) will have trash and recycling pickup on the Saturday of that week. Residents who have questions or need further assistance should call 880-1000.
What do I do with my old television? Did you know that your "old" TV does not necessarily have to be thrown away when the TV signals change to digital signals in February 2009? You have the option to purchase a converter box which will update your analog television. Learn more about the switch to digital television. If you need to dispose of your old TV set, Davidson County Residents may take TVs to East Convenience Center.

The Charlotte Center Strike & Spare Recycling Drop-off in west Nashville will relocate on May 1st to the Wal-Mart SuperCenter, 7044 Charlotte Pike. It will continue to be open 24 hours and accept all the same materials for recycling: newspaper, mixed paper, paper board, cardboard, aluminum, tin, glass containers, plastic bottles & containers.
Curbside Recycling Arrives in Bellevue In October 2008, Mayor Karl Dean announced that Metro’s first effort to make curbside recycling available to General Services District (GSD) residents would start in the 37221 zip code area of Bellevue. Recycling carts were delivered in February 2009, and collections started on Monday, March 16. Haven't signed up yet! You can still sign-up online for service.
