Receive Document Copies by Mail

In order to receive copies from our office by mail, you will need to send us a written request, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and a check or money order to cover the cost of your copies. On your written request it would be helpful if you will tell us the address of the property that you need the deed for, or if you need a document other than a property deed, tell us as much information as you can, so that we can look up the document in our indexes. You can always call the office first at 615-862-6790, and we will tell you the information that you need to include in your request. The cost is 50 cents per page, and there is a $2.00 minimum charge for mailed copies.  The charge to mail a copy of a subdivision plat is $5.00.

Our mailing address is:

Davidson County Register of Deeds
P.O. Box 196398
Nashville, TN 37219-6398

If you are going to send us your request by a courier other than the U.S. Postal Service, you will need to use the following address:
